MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Mobile County Animal Shelter will be changing the animal adoption hours and drop-off hours beginning April 2.
The changes will help improve the flow of processing animals and reduce staff overtime hours.
The new hours for animal drop-offs will be 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays, paring back one hour in the afternoon. Adoption hours will be changed to 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, a cut-back of 30 minutes per day.
Weekend shelter hours will remain unchanged. The shelter is open for adoptions only from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
