Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. There is quite a bit happening in our town this Thanksgiving week. Help others this Thanksgiving in the kitchen or with canned donations, check out a book signing from a James Beard award-winning chef, and learn about the benefits of eating fermented foods.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 19-WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21: VOLUNTEER THANKSGIVING COOKS NEEDED
Want to help cook turkeys and pies for the less fortunate this Thanksgiving? St. Mark's Lutheran Church and Chef John Lewis are looking for home cooks to buy and cook turkeys (roughly 16 pounds each) and pies (apple or pumpkin). Deliver turkeys to the church November 19-21 from 3-8 p.m. Deliver pies to the church on November 21 from 3-8 p.m. Call the church to schedule food drop-offs. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20: CRAFT BEER BOTTLING 101
Part two of the three part series focuses on bottling at Ybor's Roosevelt 2.0. Mary Mac will show everyone how to bottle their craft winter beer. That means participants are one step closer to the best part, tasting their beer. Learn the art of bottling and labeling your home brew, plus proper bottle conditioning. $15. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21: WET YOUR WHISTLE

The Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ is offering a free, home-cooked, traditional Thanksgiving dinner in an open house-style event with entertainment from Mike Balistierri.

TAMPA THANKSVEGAN DINNER
The Unitarian Universalist Church of Tampa presents Tampa's seventh annual Thanksvegan Feast. All dishes are vegan. SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 25: FOOD FERMENTATION WORKSHOP
A 90-minute workshop hosted by Sweetwater Organic Farm with instructor Austin Durant. Learn the history and benefits of fermenting foods, complete with a cooking demo with simple seasonable fermented recipes containing healthy "probiotic" bacterias.
